Seems like you been dealing with this for a long time.  Are you seeing an Infectious Disease physician?  Perhaps he/she could do a skin and a lymph node biopsy to futher investigate the situation.

I actually didn't even know that the chest xray I had in Apr 09 showed a bulla thing was there until after I got my ablation in Sep 09.  I just went to get a copy of my medical records about a month ago and noticed the chest xray report in there.  I was very upset about it because no one mentioned this to me.  And even after I mentioned this to the heart dr who did my ablation, he...

I was wondering what the excruciating pain could be, is it a situation of worsening case? I mean when  I still take some antacid, meprasil, but this pain just came on. Even when I am lying down, reading, I could still feel the pain movement in my throat down the chest area. There is a reason for expiration dates. The potency of the medication is not guaranteed after the expiration date. Any pharmacist will tell you the same.
