Sounds a lot like a migraine with some vertigo to boot. When you've had a headache for that long, you should be checking your blood pressure and going in on an urgent/ER basis to try to abort it with some medication. Hint- if they offer morphine, that is not a good one a neurologist told me for the head and I don't know of anybody that toradol has worked for them for a migraine (maybe...

SurgiMenopause - Thank you for the migraine info. The main is tolerable right now, but I've made a note of your advice in case it suddenly escalates into a proper migraine and I'm screaming for pain relief! Rumpled - I'm seeing a regular optho in 5 days as a pre-requisite for my neuro (regular, not endo) 10 days after. I've been told I've got to see regular ones first, then get passed along to the specialists'...

Hi rumpled. Thanks for your answer.I visited the best doctors in Greece.Professors etc.All said to do another MRI with 1,5 tesla after 2 months (now 20-23 Jan). This MRI is after 5 months from first MRI but this waiting killing me. No doctors are impassive spectators. I do all the work. One of them (the best name professor) said (because there is sthg new uptake contrast substance) to do...

I agree with Rumpled....you definitely need to get in with the Neuro-Endocrinologist for sure and an eye specialist would be in order to help rule out any other issues. If all you have had is Cat Scans I'd insist if it were me on someone doing an MRI because the MRI is the one defnintive test that shows "soft tissue" defects, tumors etc. Try to take it easy on yourself and know that there are those of us that understand...

I think so - clues are that there is not a place on the other side where it is lit up. Look at the images before and after it as well. Sometimes the report may note the pic where lesion shows up (not often).

That being said, you have had this lesion show up now on several MRIs, so just being an artifact (e.g. weirdness) of the MRI is pretty much ruled out. MRIs are not perfect especially with smaller lesions (...

Is this a change after the medication?
Have you seen a neuro-opthomologist, and are you being followed by your doctor regularly for MRIs, tests and all?
The meds do have side effects - so you need to determine if it is a side effect or if the med is not working. If you have not had levels taken recently (I get mine taken quarterly), I would get them done. I would speak to the ...

Your symptoms sound a lot like mine. I had attributed them to everything under the sun including thyroid issues, chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. I have a lot of issues with heat/cold intoleranace...one moment cold/next boiling hot. Back in 2004 it was found that I had a pitutary adenoma (Non Functioning/Secreting) and have had 2 surgeries since. I would definitely get it checked...

Have you seen an eye doctor? Instead of an optition, I would go see an opthomologist.

Have you thought about getting another opinion on your headaches? Besides the MRI, are they addressing the weakness - which could be another issue? Re ears - see an ENT but ringing, which I have had for years, is usually benign - but get another opinion and maybe a referral to another neuro.
Have you tried any other non-pill ways to deal with pain such as acupincture, chiro or ...

A cavernus hermangioma is formed of blood vessels. That has to be evaluated for bleeding, which is the biggest risk.
They need to decide how to treat (or watch) so that the bleeding risk is minimized. They do not know the exact location?
I don't know anyone who has gone through it here, but maybe someone is lurking.

With the social issues as well as the other pit issue, has anyone tested your growth hormone? Perhaps instead of just having a prolactinoma, you could be hypopit or panhypopit. If the tests you listed are all you have had done, you need to get another doctor to work on your case - your tests are not complete.
You may need cortisol, growth hormone, vitamin D and other things to ...
