You will need a new display to see what is happening inside the phone really .
Otherwise it will be
trial and error . To start this you will need a PC and cable connected to the phone which is still properly working .
With display not working do this :
Insert SIM card
Power the phone ON and wait a little time
Enter PIN + acivate (D-Pad down) and wait a little
Enter Security Code + ...

Hello - i went through this myself, i emailed T-Mobile and asked if they would give me the unlock code, i didnt mention money at all.
I got my unlock code,
free of charge from T-Mobile, but waited nearly 2 months to get it.
I used this email address to contact T-Mobile:
customerservices@t-mobile.co.uk
Good luck, its a long wait, but it should be free, mine was!!

why is it by the time i upgraded to my n95 8gb i had had my n73 for 12 months and it had a 2GB card. All my messages were savd on the card. I had a message folder with over 2500 messages in it in my folders.
When i went to send a text it took over 13minutes, why was this?? it gradually got slower and slower over the months..

From the phone's
User Guide.
If it has been changed, by reflashing the phone (then it is is back to the default that's stated in the User Guide).

Try the phone also with MemoryCard removed . When there is a corupted file , this makes it possible to distinguish between device and Card .
Read also my post about reset here : http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum...ad.php?t=81 021
BTW there is also a E75 subForum .

I think in this case your are mentioning C: memory . But the "Memory full" message refers to RAM memory . It is the memory used for all the running (background) applications . So close "big" apps and try again ....

Recently looked into downloading some maps of budapest for my n73. Typed in nokia maps and was taken to the new ovi maps thing. But the n73 does not appear in any download options, too old I guess.
So I try to find nokia maps old, not ovi, but no joy. So is nokia maps no longer available for n73? How can I get some maps for upcoming budapest trip. I have
bluetooth gps of course.
Thanks...

It could have been shut down because of lack of battery power . Hopefully you can still charge the battery ? Or check battery power ?
Anyway it is advised to update with battery full . In case of doubt connect charger while updating .
Try updating again with plenty of power . Other suggestion : try Vulcan Death Grip : http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum...ad.php?t=81

When hardresets / firmware reinstalls don't solve the issue , it will be a hardware issue . Like moisture , bad connector or screen damage .
