cleaning a s&s carburetor

Hi Mike, I have a 76 FLH with a s&s carburetor, the carb leaks about a quarter quart of gas every night, with the petcock off, and it has a tendency to sputter, even when running and warm. I am assuming the carb needs to be cleaned. Can you direct me to a step by step instructions to clean it ? I have never attempted this. many thanks in advance. I just installed a after market muffler and the header is stock from the exhaust port and then steps up after bend to fit the header which seems to have been made for the bike after market back in the day. Sounds great and runs real strong but now backfires on deceleration. Maybe jet problem? Any suggestions? Thanks Answer Matt, probably your aftermarket muffler is an open core unit. suzuki front wobble/ sway

we have an 82 suzuki gs 650 that has been laid down. when driving straight the bike randomly pulls left and right. at first we thought that the front tire being low caused it but after filling it up it did the same thing. if the forks were bent or the front bearing bad cause it?? this one is really stumping me.   Answer Front bearings and or a bent wheel should be fairly easy to see so I'm sure you looked at that.  Check...
