Andy, i brought a home with safe in wall. the lock is missing completely it is a 16"x13" by 9" deep eversafe manufactured in Indianapolis by midwest manufacturing and i would guess 40 years old. the one i saw on ebay was the same safe with an Yale combination lock. this is what i would like to find or another that would fit this safe. thanks for your help tpb Answer Tim, Yale made a number of different types of safe locks over...

we have a 30 year old wall safe with a Lori 4 digit combination lock that we can't open anymore. The wife and I have both tried many times. This is the first time that we have had a problem. We think there must be something wrong with the lock. I don't remember what brand it is but it does look very similar to the Fire Fyter Model: WS-DIY-C. Do these Lori locks ever go bad? Is it possible it can be opened? I'm about ready to cut...

mosler safe

QUESTION: I have purchased a mosler safe and I have no combo, I really don't want to drill it, I would like to keep it original. It is a fire safe, concrete lined, with a inner door, which also has a combo, I think? so here it is, mod# 12, and ser# is 23572-10  I know mosler is out of business, with records lost, etc. Any help would be great, thanks, John... Hello, I'm living in a building built in 1919. My front door lock is a Mortise style, with thumblatch lever on outside and deadbolt built in. The deadbolt knob on the inside has broken off. It's made by Yale. Is there any way to replace just the knob? If so, where would I get it and how is the best way to do it?
