I have a big problem. we have had water in the basement from time to time. had carpet at one time and removed it because of water. I then painted the floor with a latex paint. Not a concrete paint. Then I decided to tile it. The tile is a 12" self stick. But it didn't stick in all places, so I glued it down. Now the floor is efflorescing under the tile in different spots. I was going to install tumble marble as a backsplash. I was told by a CSR at Lowe's I need to use a penetrating sealer before installing. I used 3 coats on the tiles but after they dryed, the color went back to the plain ivory color it was before they were wet. I then read that Michael said to change to color use and enhanser.
