QUESTION: hi-im a little pass novice. have windows xp home-have updated on regular basis, making sure old programs are taken out. today-  i had 5 virus alerts. my defender says pc is running fine. problem is every time i log on to the internet, i get message stating, that it is closing down for my protection. Hello, Today i got a virus called privacy center, i was able to delete it with instructions found on the web. I have also had a virus called jucheck.exe, its Java, or it pretends to be. Anyway i did something similar and was able to delete that as well. I understand that these are common viruses if i was able to find so much on how to remove them, but what effect did they have on my computer? I deleted privacy center right away but jucheck.exe...
