[quote=Left Handed;703704][quote=skybolt;703285] The elected Reps stated publicly that the TA package would go to the membership. It was never written into the policy manual because the negotiators always need the ability to imply that they could get MEC ratification in case of a really great deal. Quote: This is my point. It should only be considered a great deal if the membership thinks it's a great deal, not just the MEC. I just...

I doubt it. Don't forget who you're dealing with here... the baby boomer "I got mine" & "me, me, me" generation.
They'll keep taking more and more. If they get health care from the government, they'll just take that and keep working until they are 65. More cash in their bank accounts.

She wants an apology and compensation!? Flying isn't a right, it is a privilege. If you can't control your offspring, don't subject the rest of us to it. If anything, she should be refunded the ticket price, but even that would be debatable.

Expect to see CVG closing as a 767ER base...the only flight this airplane
operates out of cvg is to paris...which will probably be moved to the world
gateway=detroit...which operates 18 international daily departures for
delta and 1 for another skyteam member.

The FAs based in Florida say that there are no reserves: if you get sick or whatever, you have to find your own replacement. The limited size of the bases make them very senior, with almost no movement. Also, FAs can fly any airplane that transits the base, while we cannot. Thus,...

You are right, our First Officers should have to maintain a second job and live with their parents across the country, increasing the possibility of them showing up tired to fly with me, because in your fantasy land a minimum wage would create some situation where the government would have to step in and limit maximum pay.
Oh wait, the government could step in right now and limit whatever they...
