I really wish they would get rid of the rule that if you fail the interview, you are Blackballed for life. This just isn't right!!! What if your interviewer is a D-bag!!! I saw a ton of great guys get the thumbs down. I wonder how many guys got rejected from Delta, got hired at NWA and are now Delta.

No idea, what does their app website say? They may be accepting them, but they will not be reviewing them until they need to hire, which they have not announced yet. Always good to keep em updated.

I jumped to and from TPE about 10 times using both United and Northwest, but it has been about 5 years though since the last time I did it. I ended up having to buy tickets a couple of times to get home so I started buying zed fares on EVA- they fly into LAX, SFO, SEA, and either EWR or JFK from TPE and they are part of the same alliance as AA. I believe China Airlines goes to almost all the ...

You could call sked and ask for an explanation for your SC assignment. Though they have their nifty secret enigma machine that spits out the daily lucky winning number(s). I do know they try to even out the number of SC per reserve each month. Now during winter months, with the extra number of reserves sitting around, it's easy to think all of a sudden you've been sked's favorite SC go-to guy. ...

It it horrible. I get less days off now, can never get a weekend or holiday now, and with it came the end of build up reserve and any chance to make more than guarantee. Did I mention I hate it? It's ok if you are in the top 5-10% of your bidding list but otherwise it is a major concession.

In the future the legacy airlines will continue to decay until they are essentially regionals flying bigger jets for similar wages. LLCs will continue to take over the market and force wages downward. Domestic jet captain wages will continue to sink until it reaches a point where no one will show up for the job anymore at around 65 to 85K. Most overseas flying will be taken over by ...
