The Dancing Airline Captain

A year and a half later, I am still wondering about this allegedly unemployed captain. Has anyone figured out who he is? Back gainfully employed or should we expect to see him in some reality TV show?

I say this to every cell thread on here. Verizon's network is FAR superior to ATTs. A friend of mine just converted to ATTs iPhone. We can barely have conversations anymore because of all the dropped calls and poor voice quality ... and she's in NYC ! If having the ability to actually use your phone as a phone is important to you ... without dropped calls and bad sound quality ... then don't go with the iphone. But if you want a...

You have to realize most of the happy pilots are not on this website. My advice is to try and separate the facts from the romance when reading what people have to say at any rumor-based website. My first exposure to airline flying was largely through APC around 4 years ago, and on the basis of that I decided not to enter the airline industry with many of my friends. I credit APC for both encouraging me to fly and discouraging me from entering...

Trains work well in Europe, but I doubt they would in the US. London and
Paris are about the same distance apart that New York and Boston are.
Unless they get a lot faster it will still be faster to get naked in front
of the TSA and fly from New York to LA or where ever.

A lot of pilots drive beater cars. Whether by mere economy, or they just don't care that much.

No I don't have any info on the Android. I recently quit VZW and went with ATT and the Bold for 2 months. Hated it for all the reason your mentioned, bad coverage. Even in large urban areas. The amount of phone drop calls were annoying and unacceptable. Even the people I frequently call who use land lines noticed the difference in quality and increase in dropped calls.
