Just out of curiousity ... Why do I have to download the server file list every time OBM backs up? This seems to be unnecessary, as OBM should always know what it has uploaded in its last backup. OBM should be the one generating a file list and should know what it did last time. What is changing the makup of the file list on server? Shouldn't OBM only need to look at Modified and Created Time Stamps, and for files that have been deleted....

Is there a link to it? From their main site I saw just the sign up form. I pay annually, not monthly. I have yet to go live, looking to do it by the end of the month. I have 400 ACM and 100 OBM. From when I was researching a year ago, Ahsay had the best reselling capabilities. Also open to exploring other alternatives if anyone knows of any. if i ever get this fixed, i will post the resolution here. i have tickets submitted but so far nothing useful has come of it. what is interesting is that if i remove the idx files , rebuild the user folder, and implement CDP, CDP works just fine.

I was very cautious and got a new server/new license and installed 5.5.5.0 I then started to migrate users to the new server from an OBS version 5.5.1.6 I did a rebuild user storage as I migrated each user to keep the load down. Files can be deleted from AhsayOBS web interface. This is why checking must be done every time to ensure all files are backed up. In version 6, AhsayOBM/AhsayACB will download the index.bdb file (compressed) to obtain the file list. This way, the load generated on AhsayOBS when downloading file list will be minimal.

No, do you have any network interfaces which are not named in /etc/hosts ? If you do, then they need to be added.
