I forgot to say that the green on light comes on but nothing happens, no sound or picture. Thought it was just a standard bricking that a pandora & mms would fix but apparently not.

You don't have to downgrade in order to play backups. You can upgrade to a custom firmware , I would recommend Dark Alex or Team GEN's custom firmware. Go ahead and use 5.03 Tiff exploit to install Custom Firmware of your choice.

you have to do the b2 in order to go to d, make sure you put the b2update folder in psp-games when you go to games if you do not see the updater you do not have the folder put in properly. make sure you only have one folder the b2 when unpacked has an extra folder in it so open the folder inside there is another folder that says the same thing copy only that folder into games ...

Yes, you can use the same pandora as often as you want. But I wouldn't use the 8gig stick for it, best works with a stick of 2 gig or smaller.

Have you got a pandora battery as this is needed to load from the MMS

you should upgrade to GEN-D2 that will get that game working, and then be sure to upgrade on 12-15 to gend-3 that will solve issues with most recent games.

You have the iso folder in the wrong place. it should not be inside any folder. ms0:/ISO.

You have many options, the best method I recommend is you update to OFW 5.03, then you can use 5.03 tiff exploit to activate chickHEN, and then run Hellcats Recovery Flasher 1.6 to install 5.00 Dark Alex Custom Firmware . And then upgrade to 5.50 GEN D-2. Or you can make your battery a pandora battery and a magic memory stick.

ok i went from 4.01 to 5.50d then patched it with 5.50d2, the d2 patch allows you to play the latest games on cfw, iv done it twice, but cant remember where i got the walkthrough, if i remeber i googld it and found it there, this might help you..........
