Yeah, there are some people that don't know much about encrypting their wi-fi...I never had the need to, but it would certainly be no problem, plenty available in my vicinity...Even more when I tested a Sunday DIY project, a nice cantenna..

Again, it looks like a bunch of people (not all) talking out of their hind end because they lack any ability to reason. If you're gonna hate on Sony for Blu-ray , you have to equally hate Panasonic , Pioneer , Phillips, etc. to not be a hypocrite. Some of these forums are like listening to partisan political hacks on TV who just make up nonsense (i.e. lie) for anything they have no other basis for their position. FYI... Current Blu-ray...

Patents last 15 years .. but some people want to see them extended like copyright.. taking everything out of the possibility of the public domain. What annoys me is the buying and selling of something which was supposed to preserve the inventor rights to make money from their invention. The yankee patent office needs looking at.. it is allowing patents to be registered on already existing technology and on general ideas not specifics.. that...

The minute they can stop charging for updates they will, because it will save them money. Do some basic google research. Good old...

Of course no one in the prison workforce is going to get reprimanded for allowing prisoners to use a nonsecure computer. The "innocent" prisoner is a real trooper and is gonna take one for the warden.

So is the article saying the Amazon and Target has better prices on their Blu-ray movies than Wal-Mart? Yes...that's what it looks like.

Whats to stop the owners of the Rebox's, just going into a Walmart or any place on release day and buying 50-100 copies of the DVD's?
Is there some rule against that?

It would be a monumental ammount of BS if this were to be awarded a patent. What so a company can get sue'd now if I make the character in my game bear a likeness to myself?
