Phillip,   Just a guess, but I think that any retribution would be slow to come, if at all. However, there were comments in the Report Abuse thread, so maybe I am wrong.   Now, I would imagine that Adobe would put one into a "witness protection program." I worried that this was what happened to me, as of the update, when I lost my log-in?!?!?   Hunt

Or what isf one doesn't want to risk retribution for reporting an item.

It is a joke right? If we natives don't report spam in the let's say for example photoshop windows forum, for 7 days in a row, it will be closed down. Nobody in their right mind would have the pelotas to do such a absurb thing. I will believe it when I see it.

Yep, solved.   The idea came from a Mozilla user forum.? It was suggested I try running Firefox in Safe Mode, which disables all add-ons.? This allowed the cookie to come in correctly.   After a lengthy process of elimination, the culprit turned out to be the NoScript add-on.? It has certain protections against unsafe cookies, which I had enabled on my primary computer, but not my other machines.? This protection was turning...

Rick,   I am specifically addressing Jochem's comment? "As far as I am concerned, every forum where the natives don'tcare enough to report blatant spam within a week deserves to be closed". ? This implies there *are* natives there that could be asked.
