Hi there While it's certainly possible that the project has somehow become corrupt, you might find that simply closing and restarting Captivate changes things. Have you tried that? I've seen it where
bits and pieces are suddenly missing. After I restarted, things were just fine again. Cheers... Rick Helpful and Handy Links Captivate Wish Form/Bug ...

While there are much smarter people than I on this forum, I have attempted the same with no success. SWF is simply not supported as of PPT 2007. In my opinion, you need to use one of the many
video converters available (e.g., download.com, search on "video converter" and "SWF"). Turn the video into a compatible format, then import. Because PPT is from Microsoft, converting to WMV makes it a ...

Hi there Are you possibly meaning RoboHelp 8 and combining Captivate 4 with it? Have you ensured that you copied the FLV to the same location as the Captivate file? Cheers... Hello, Could you check the DOC-files in the Gallery/PrintOutput? The document used for the
handouts is Lesson.doc. Do you have it there? It is a Word 2003-document, but normally this can be opened by Word 2007 (perhaps checking too). Lilybiri

Hi there Are we to assume the Publishing Process failed for the user on the other machine? Assuming the answer to that is yes, I might surmise that the only
real option left is to create a new blank project sized identical to the first. Then copy the slides from the errant project to the fresh one and publish from the fresh project. You should also report this as a bug to Adobe....

Hello, From a cold Belgium: is there any reason why you try to publish to AVI? Perhaps you should know that the "native" format to publish in CP is SWF (Flash). Personally, although I'm a CP-user since version 1, I've never tried to publish directly to a video-format (I think it is a new feature in CP4). Can you try to publish a SWF? Since 98% of all PC's have
Flash player installed, ...

Hello, Strange, but had just the same issue this morning with one of my Captivate files. Checking the path where CP wanted to put the
Word-document, it was a very weird path. Several months ago I had once copied the CP-file to a content collection on our LMS, and apparently this had got frozen in the memory of CP (??) and it wanted to publish the document over there. I just changed the ...

Hi there If you are seeking a
file type other than SWF or EXE, then yes, I'd agree that you are using the wrong tool. What file types are deemed "acceptable" in your environment? Cheers... Rick Helpful and Handy Links Captivate Wish Form/Bug Reporting Form Adobe Certified Captivate Training SorcerStone Blog Captivate eBooks...
