UPDATE: My mobile mechanic had to reschedule on me today. I couldnt take it another minute so I broke down and looked up how to change the head gasket and water pump . It was the head gasket that was plane to see after I started taking things apart. 3 hours later head gasket replaced, timing belt replaced, and water pump replaced and I now have A RUNNING CAR!!!!!!! Anybody try these silicone hoses?
Published (2009-12-22 05:48:00)
I'm a Mishimoto dealer, and in all honesty, their silicone hoses are like those of most other silicone hoses on the market. However, the nice thing behind the Mishimoto units is having a brand and a warranty of some sort behind the products. As far as hoses for that car, here's what I have: 90-01 INTEGRA (EXC. TYPE R) SKUNK2 RADIATOR HOSES [629-05-0003] - $109.99 : HONSPORT, Truth in Engineering 90-93 Integra Mishimoto Silicone...

Payload? and something to think...

Since your tight on money have you looked into the cost of the Electric motor and battery? you will need some kind of transmission as well. The cost of getting an adapter plate made to mate the tranny to the EM won't be cheap.

Don't worry about it. It's just a reminder that you are due for scheduled maintenance. What's your mileage at now?

Like I said in your other thread, you need to determine what you want with the car.
I am a fan of boosting ( supercharging to be exact)... it is instant power/torque as soon as you touch the gas, however, your intake temps will be higher (so you need to try and deter that as much as possible), and you will not be making as much power if you were turbo'd.
If you turbo it, you have to wait ...

The mileage is fine as long as the vehicle has been maintained properly. As far as the accident, the fact that you have body wrinkles and the hatch requires slamming means that the car is not straight and you will need to have the frame pulled. Also since someone had done an auto to 5-speed swap, I want to suspect the car was probably driven pretty hard. Depending on where in so-cal I can ...

You start here with me at Honsport. First for power mods, you'll want to start with you typical breathing mods with an intake, header, and exhaust. I have a large selection on my web site.
Intakes help the car inhale better. There are 2 popular options. Cold air and short ram. Power production is higher on cold air systems with sacrifice to slightly reduced throttle response and increased ...

My 93 integra would crank but not start. I replaced the battery,
distributor cap and rotor, and plugs, and still got nothing. So i got a
refurbished distributor and put that on. The car started ran fine, i took
it for a 15-20 min drive to make sure everything was ok. Later in the day
when i tried to go drive it again, it started fine but after about 4 min
letting it warm up, the car stalled out ...

you can throw 17s on there, but they look a little big. people pull it off though. 18s are pushing it, unless its a show car. 19s and 20s would just look horrible.
with a good drop 15s look good on a g2
again 15s
my fave, some nice 16s

Interesting concept.
How much of a payload, or gross vehicle weight, increase are you looking at?
I'm thinking that balancing the weight would be an issue to take into account.
