In Acrobat 8 3D it was possible to disable
user interaction with the 3D annotation by unchecking "Enable default 3D interaction" in the 3D properties of the annotation. Does anybody know where this setting has gone in Acro9 pro extended? TIA, Beat

Hi All, I'm using Acrobat Pro Extended 9 and I'd like to disable the model tree in 3D
Reviewer so that users do not have access to it in the generated PDF. In case it matters, my U3D files are being imported into FrameMaker 8 and my FM file is then converted to PDF. Can someone please advise on how I would do this? Thank you...

Hi All, I imported an Inventor 3D model into 3D Reviewer and created a small animation using the Create Animation function in 3D Reviewer. Once this was done, I exported the file to
u3d format and then imported it into my FrameMaker 8.0 document. When I generate the PDF, the animation is gone. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you...

When I embed a 3D PDF into a web page it covers up popup menus (even when the 3D annotation is disabled). This is true for
PDFs generated in either Acro8 or Acro9 and for all browsers tested (Firefox, IE, Safari, Opera, Chrome). For embedded flash movies, this can be avoided by setting the parameter wmmode="transparent", but this doesn't seem work for 3D PDFs. Is there ...

Has anyone an answer as to why when creating a 3d pdf from wf3, the resulting pdf has missing parts (pdf created from a backup) and why on other occasions there is a
run time error during processing of data. Thanks

I would like to modify the CameraRotate.js from the Smooth Rotation tutorial to achieve two things: 1. The initial camera view should not be re-calculated but taken over from the default view. 2. The model should start coasting at a certain speed when the 3D annotation is enabled. Is there
anybody out there willing and able to show me how to do it? Thanks in advance, Beat...

Hello I design
paint schemes for aircraft. We are moving from 2d to 3d and I have a question. We typically show a orthographic side view with basic dimensions on it to show the paint shop how wide the stripes are at certain locations along the aircraft and also put specific notes in this view also. We are using the 3d capture from acrobat to create the 3d pdf of the ...

Earlier this week I chatted with an adobe representative online, this representative told me that Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended would print my
Inventor 2009 files. I just loaded Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended and it fails just the way Adobe 3D did. I wish representatives of Adobe would not mislead me into thinking that upgrading would cure my 3D printing issues. You know with...
