yeah some derms just dont want to help you and say time is all it takes. i too was turned away, he said they should be gone after 1yr low and behold i came back 1yr later with my face still red, no improvement at all. i told him how it caused me distress and he agreed to help kind of stupid though as the treatment was there all along

i get a burn mark on my face if i use too much BP, too. a lot of people say they use toothpaste and it works (?) so maybe you used too much. if you're desperate, try neosporin instead. i've used it on upcoming zits before and it dries them out, or at minimal, stunts their growth. if you're using other heavy duty cleansers at present; you may want to steer clear of it though. i would never put toothpaste on my face. the dryness...

So heres my regimen: MORNING Purpose Gentle Cleanser SA 2.0% Eucerin Sensitive skin spf 30 Lotion NIGHT Purpose Gentle Cleanser ACV 1:4 Ziana Spot treat some pimples with Alpha Hydrox Enhanced Lotion Attached thumbnail(s)

since youve started accutane you cant do any treatments for your red marks for at least 6 - 12 months after you finished your course of accutane. No lasers, no peels

Well they say they're not permanent and fade as time goes by. But how long it takes nobody knows, Right now im kind of in your situation. Been off accutane for about 1 1/2 now but still dealing with redness and marks everywhere What do you mean by they left and came back stronger...Did you get new acne in places you previously had it and you have marks there again or what?...

It's kind of hard to tell from the pictures. Are the marks indented or bumpy, or are they just discolored?

First of all, ensure you're not picking at your spots at all or even fiddle with them. Just poking at a spot will irritate it. Next, try using moisturisers more. If that fails, you could ask your doctor what he recommends or you may well grow out of it.

i have a bottle of this stuff, i used it for a little while on my scars but stopped for some reason, theres still some left and i only used it for scars as apposed to a whole facial cleanse, i'll get back on that shizzle tonight, just pain in the arse you have to use it for so long to see any results, i long for a quick fix in todays' modern society.

I am really not sure about how to get rid of those red marks, but seriously, do not use toothpaste on your face. It has fluoride in it, which is known to clog pores. Also, it is made for teeth , not your skin.

typically with microderm... if you get it on a friday lets say, your skin will look great on saturday. and then on sunday your skin will be pretty flaky. Your skin might have just taken a little bit longer to get flaky, so just make sure to moisturize a couple times a day.

Hmm, thanks for this post. I was thinking about trying those exact peels. Aside from the breakout, I didn't realize it would cause a "layer of dead skin". Was 15% the first one you tried? I forget what increments they sell. I was thinking of trying lower than that but 15 isn't too strong, is it?
