After thinking alot about this, Ive decided it really dosen't make much sense. First off, tomato sauce is awful for your teeth. It may stop the oil, but having stained teeth is about just as bad as oily skin. Also tomato sauce is HIGHLY acidic. Having a can a day is awful for your stomach and eventually will probally lead to some form of acid reflex disease. Databased- Im sure that your program will work, but it dosent seem worth it too...

I think we all know how you feel sweetheart. Maybe you should think about Dan's regimen. I haven't started to use it yet, but it's on it's way here and I can't wait for it! There are so many people on this site who have found it useful. So maybe that's an option. I know how you feel about your dermatologist. My first one was a stupid, opinionated, old guy who didn't know anything about teenage girls....

acne on right side of my face only

QUOTE (grumpy_me @ Nov 25 2009, 12:16 AM) why is it on the right side only? I don't know. There's a tree in my front yard changing color. It started with just a few leaves here and there, but now the color change is in one big swoop curling around sort of from near top to bottom, from north side to west side. Why is it in that pattern? Why don't all the leaves change color at once, or at least distributed all...

Do you spend a lot of time on the phone? Holding the phone to your face for long periods can cause acne....make sure you wipe it regularly with alcohol wipes to make sure it doesn't harbour germs.

Medication induced acne

Could you talk to your doctor about maybe reducing a medication that is causing problems? I'm on Lamictal, Prozac, Abilify, imipramine, and lithium. Besides being fat and having acne, I had a hella tremor. I want to do some archaeology-type things, so that is bad. All I had to do was go from 1050 mg of lithium to 900 mg, and now my tremor is much more subtle. I just had to make that one, tiny, doctor-sanctioned change.

Those arent tiny pimples. In fact, Im almost positive that most people have those exact same microscopic bumps under their eyes. It's not ugly and I'm sure no one notices so I would leave it alone.

hey there, Do you have any tingling or pain at all? Reason I ask is that in September I had the same thing on my nose, forehead and eye, went to the docs, was given antiobiotics for cystic acne, and then within 3 days if flared up even more. Went back to the docs, and I was diagnosed with shingles. I had the rash and water filled blisters on my face for a month. So if you have any sort of ...

It is impossible to say, might go in a few years or a few decades. Not trying to depress you, but that is the way it is. If you have a family history of acne, then that might give you clues as to when your acne might disappear. In the meantime, I would go on Dan's regime to treat your acne which should give you clear skin.

I used to be the same way, it was like I had OCD and had to pick and squeeze my face, but I stopped looking in the mirror. I avoided the mirror at all costs, and had to tell myself that I would only make things work. Not only will it help your skin to heal, but you won't think about your acne quite as much when you don't see yourself. Trust me, it will help a lot. Best of luck to ya!...

I used that stuff for a long time, and despite all the "amazing" ratings it got, it really didn't help too much. I've seen a lot of other people on forums like this agreeing with me, saying that it does help, just not enough. After time I ordered the "Clear" solution, 3 step acne program. (CLEAR Normalizing Cleanser, CLEAR Extra Strength Targeted Acne Relief Toner, and CLEAR Extra ...

Well, of course I still look like my self, but my entire demeanor has changed donât you think? I took the before picture about a year ago as motivation to finish my skin care line and get rid of my acne⦠And really, I owe my final results to Dan because I was initially afraid of incorporating benzoyl peroxide into my regime. I was afraid because when I was younger I had used a BP gel ...

Well I've been on Lithium for 10 years and although I don't get a face full of acne, I do always have 3- 4 deep cysts at a time. They ALWAYS scar so my face is covered in scars. I want to have a baby and will need to come off Lithium soon and go on something else, I'm so excited about the possibity of not have acne! Do your spots scar?

I was told to do the same by my dermatologist- so I bought both the Cetaphil lotion specifically for the face, and the regular lotion for dry/sensitive skin. The facial moisturizer was greasy and made my skin break out, it also burned a bit upon application. On the other hand, I really like the lotion for dry/sensitive skin for use on my face- it doesnt make me break out and really takes ...

When hair hangs on or over the face like that, there's a chance that any hair product residue or oils from the hair can clog pores and lead to breakouts.

I have no idea how water helps but I was just about to post a topic about how my gomad & lemonade diet got me cleared up. At the same time I've stopped drinking coke/sprite etc. and started drinking Karvan Cevitam lemonade. pretty weird how just drinking water mixed with sirup and a lot of ...
