bare minerals will make your face look more dry and flaky. I really don't recommend it, even though i use it. I would try a good liquid foundation, some with good coverage that you can apply just to certain areas and not all over the face. For drugstore I would try loreal true match, since it has a wide selection of colors so you can find one that closely matches and you don't look weird with concealing certain areas. Or try revlon...

I just posted about Hourglass. It is a brand you can get a Sephora or Sephora.com. You can either go to a store and try it, or if you buy it online. Shephora has free returns on ANYTHING you try and don't like, so you can always return it if you hate it =)

Well I got the liquid foundation, concealer, and powder, and I used all three products tonight and I can say that I like this stuff so far. It didn't look or feel cakey, it was easy to apply, and I didn't really have a hard time taking it off. I use the jojoba oil to take most of my makeup off anyways. I'll let you know how it works for me. I was thinking that some of my breakouts might be cosmetically caused. My mom has been...

Nope! Not the tinted moisturizer. Dermalogica makes something called 'Treatment Foundation'. It has more coverage than a moisturizer and is actual makeup. I still like to use a mineral foundation over it though so I get extra coverage. I think the mineral foundation I use is by L'Oreal. I was able to get the Treatment Foundation in sample form for free so I could try it first. Maybe you could too!

Baby oil. Pour a little in your palm, massage it into your face, then tissue it off and wash as normal. If you're lazy like me, baby wipes also work. Just make sure to get the unscented ones!

QUOTE (Teex @ Nov 24 2009, 08:05 PM) 5) Apply foundation I am in the mood for, using either fingers or brush. Most used ones recently are: * L'Oreal True Match (liquid) * MAC Studio Fix Fluid (liquid) * Mineralize Skinfinish SPF 15 (liquid) How do you apply liquid foundation with a brush?? I've been using a sponge and I wonder whether all that dotting is a little too irritating for my skin? Are fingers and/or a...

okay, so I have a little bit more peach fuzz on my face then most and have acne prone skin. before I had this huge break out I would just use maybelline pure stay powder foundation just on the scars or blemishes that I had which wasn't much and I felt that looked pretty good and natural but now i'm stuck with alot of marks on my face and neck, something I couldn't just cover the ...

Okay, no matter what I do, after I put on my makeup - my face looks like a complete oil slick... in about one hour. Everyday before school, I moisturize lightly and then use a few dots of sunscreen. I then put on a little bit of the Smashbox Photofinish Light Primer. I use about a little less than a dime sized amount of Clinique SuperFit Foundation on my whole face, and then cover ...

The only primer I've tried is MAC's Prep & Prime SPF 50. It wasn't great at controlling oil, but it didn't irritate my sensitive skin, even with the SPF 50 in it. I don't have indented scarring so I'm not quite sure how much it evens out the surface of the skin. It's clear, so it won't cover red marks, but it makes a smoother surface for foundation/concealer. It's pretty pricey, so I ...

Hey all, I have a couple questions about MoM, maybe you guys could help me out? I'm a guy, so I wouldn't be needing MoM as a makeup primer or whatever, but I read in the local paper it sometimes helps acne. So I bought some a while ago but just now getting around to using it. I kept it in the shower and after washing my hair I rubbed some on my face and let it sit for a few minutes ...

Do you wear a lot of makeup? I just use a liquid cleanser and it takes everything off; I've experimented with toners but found they were too drying, and nothing extra came off anyway. I use Neutrogena's orange liquid soap, but I've heard Purpose is fantastic for makeup removal as well. I don't like the residue it leaves behind, though. I usually wear liquid foundation (light/medium ...

i don't know if this will help much, since i suck at concealer. and i feel you about the lack of sleep .. they better come up with some miracle eye products by the time i graduate. jk. i've heard some good things about mac's studio fix concealer, but i think you've already tried that since it's such a popular product .. lol. for dark circles, i use a medium-heavy coverage foundation. i...

I'm been using it for over 2 weeks, almost 3! I can say that this foundation beats mineral make-up in the long run. Mineral make-up made my face look cakey since the oils on my face would built up at the end of the day and it just looked bad. Almay Clear Complexion is a nice foundation you can build up with (use a triangular sponge). It you have dark scars, there is a Clear Complextion ...

Foundation can be pretty tricky. I used to use a Clinique foundation because I liked how thick it was when it came to covering my acne. It also didn't seem to break my skin out. Recently, however, I switched to Dermalogica's foundation. It never, ever breaks me out. It's more of a creamy foundation that blends into the skin. Sooo I have to use a little bit more so it covers up my zits ...

People use their eyebrows a lot for different facial expressions, and when you raise your eyebrows, it kind of scrunches up the skin on your forehead. After years and years of making different faces, it's not uncommon to have a few lines up there.

Thanks for the information. I just started researching mineral make up after having a problem with Bare Minerals matte formula. I had used Bare Minerals for five years without a problem; so I decided to try their new matte formula because it sounded like it would be even better for my oily, acne-prone skin. It didn't cause me to break out, but it did cause all these tiny bumps on my face...
