Yes I wouldn't care about the 4kg gap I'd be more concerned on why you're such on a high dosage at the beginning of the course

I have always had super oily skin- not just my face but my chest too. I did my first course of accutane 4 years ago. My oil just about disappeared! It was wonderful. After accutane it slowly came back but I kept it in check with retin-a gel for about 3.5 years. Now I am doing another course because I only completeted 4 months my first time. I think the key to accutane is taking a high enough dose (based on weight) and finishing your...

QUOTE (Boogiebanez @ Nov 28 2009, 10:54 PM) Oh, also, I've noticed a BIT of a breakout, not sure whether it's the notorious IB, or just some regular acne. All is well though! Yeah!! That is what I've been wondering too. I've gotten a few new spots, but nothing I can't cover with makeup! They say that people get the IB between weeks 1 and 3, so within the next few weeks...

QUOTE (karam @ Nov 26 2009, 03:13 PM) you have been in a hospital and "witnessed swine flu deaths" yeah right..the number of people who are sick from the regular flu far surpasses the benign swine flue I don't believe you witnessed any "swine flu deaths" I believe people have died from H1N1. I would recommend getting your vaccinations on different days. I got seasonal flu, H1N1, and...

If I were you I'd go to a doctor and request a blood test before you do anything else. How long have you taken Accutane? If it's under 7 months I'd try another month.

Accutane and Cysts
Published (2009-11-27 11:48:00)
it takes FOREVERRRRRRRRR. get it injected asap. It will still take a while since accutane promotes slower healing. But the cyst will heal up faster than if you just left it

Published (2009-11-26 23:49:00)
Thanks for the info. Im thinking I may not be suffering from dryness in the face and not too dry lips because I only suffer from mild (sometimes moderate) acne...I could be wrong though ofcourse...because I have incurred the following side effects: -dry itchy scalp -hair thinning/loss -dry nose -dry/sore eyes -dry arms..? -lower back pain (this occured prior to accutane though)

My Accutane Experience
Published (2009-11-24 22:37:00)
If you are not healthy and in pain everyday, you won't be happy even if you have clear skin. Granted, acne is horrible and difficult to deal with, but there are several options to treat it beside accutane. Unlike severe accutane induced side effects, you wouldn't be able to find the antidote you need even if you have whole lots of money. QUOTE (nikkia @ Nov 25 2009, 10:37 AM) Try to be happy with your clear skin. I...

Is the rest of your skin somewhat red? I noticed that since my skin was red it made under my eyes look a lot whiter since the skin there didn't redden.

There are temporary health insurance plans around, and I think they run from around 300-500 monthly, which is still cheaper than what you quoted. I don't think it's illegal to apply for insurance because you want a particular condition treated, but you will run into complications if you've been seeing doctors for acne - this is when your condition becomes 'preexisting,' and when insurance ...

Up until 3 years post Accutane pimples would take a week at most to heal. Now ( 4 years later) they can take up to 3-4 weeks. I think a lot of it has to do with age as well. I'm 23 and my skin is starting to age, so if you're younger your skin will heal more quickly.

Hey all, lately I've been feeling pretty down about my face and am starting to worry that Accutane won't fully clear me up. I have an appoitment with my derm in less than 2 weeks so I'll have a chance to ask questions, but until than I'm going to post a picture of the right side of my face. I'm about 4.25 months into my treatment. I am on 40mg a day. I was on 60mg a day but my eyes got...

Sometime in October last year I started accutane, my doc put me on 60 mg per day, and I was on that for about 9 months, then I went down to 40 mg per day for a few weeks, before I went down to 20 mg per day, which I've been on ever since. In total I've been on Accutane for just about 13 months. And yes, I know that's a very long time, but my doc has stood by it, and felt it's been ...

It wouldn't really be your 7th course, if you had to stop early the other times due to a bad reaction. It sounds like you have extremely resistant acne, so I'm not sure that reaching your cumalative dose would help, but accutane is your best bet in terms of curing your acne (I'm going strictly by the numbers here... although accutane is not 100% guaranteed to cure acne, it has a ...

several youtubers who are chronicling their acne experience have said Avene is the best (I did NOT mean to say aveeno) but that seems to be hard to find here in the US...so what's the best for those of us in the US?
