God, Christmas is already driving me crazy. I have a slave driver mother telling me to do all sorts of things to get the house ready while she plays with curtains that were honestly fine, nothing wrong with them. YeS!!!! for the first time in over a week, the words came easy and quickly and beautifully. Yes. I said it. I kicked ass today. Thank god. Now it's on to the castle!!!!!

I spent it on a corset and a flight to W. Lafayette.

Not a whole soundtrack...yet but certain individual songs, absolutely. I finally discovered who does the music for the opening credits of Cold Case and downloaded the album that contains it, "Nara" by E.S. Posthumus. I get a visual in my head of a certain scene I'd write for my novel with this song playing. Nara (stick with it until about the 1:18 minute mark)

so, i finally hit the halfway point, but i have less than a week to finish. with work and family coming in town, that's basically 4 days. 25K words in 4 days?? yikes! i am setting myself up to fail here!

Yay! And less than two weeks away, too!

Oh, did I mention that I wrote another novel in December? I mean it's MG, so short, but I wrote it from the 2nd to the 19th.
