Well, since Zelda makes a habit of walking across my laptop, I'm sure she'll post a message soon.

I want to get my little sister a new bedding set for Christmas. She is 9 and her room is purple, and she has a full size bed. I want to get her something fun and youthful, but also something she can grow into in her teens. Any suggestions of where to look? I have looked at Bed Bath and Beyond and Target without much luck.

I got my 30 yr old daughter one from Penny's last year--the Juliette one--it looks better in person, than on the post. It has lots of pink and purple and lots of glitz. The accessories are really cute.

Hang in there, stephen. We need more of us 'mature' AtoZ members. After losing my husband 8 years ago, no loss seems to surprise me any more.

Hey buck, I have friends who have kept every movie ticket, concert stub, everything, since they have been together-almost 20 years! They built these pub tables-you know, tall, with a footrest-and put stubs on the top, then used the acrylic stuff (I think that's what it is-the stuff that dries clear and very very hard?) so they are locked into place. They are soooo cool. With the rest of them, they made a huge collage, which they have...

I got mine some time ago. It was a very small amount of vaccine, and did not hurt. I had no side effects. When I hear about someone dying or being in a comma, I am glad I got one. But, I understand the fear.
I have always gotten a flu shot every year. I recommmend it.

My hubby has to have my car tomorrow and although I had no plans, I am going crazy trying to think of anything I will possibly need. I have already ran to my class room to get my science stuff *in case* I decide to do lesson plans. WHY IS THAT????
I hate that feeling!

he must have been communicating with my cat, who typed out a similar message not to long ago. Now I wish I hadn't erased the "message". Now the poor creatures can't talk to each other

Though I think it is a nice thing to do, I agree with you. Please don't tell me how to give you your gift. Let it be from my heart and let me do it my way. To me this is along the lines of self addressing my own thank you card! (But that is another discussion!)

I do peppermint bark and other assorted things covered in chocolate (pretzels, marshmallows, oreos, etc.)
I like to do a few classics, at least for my family, and then try something new, but my new ones keep turning out so well I like to make them again, and I just have too much!
I made these last year and they were fantastic! Very festive looking and yummy. http://www.bhg.com/...

We are only supposed to get about 1" of snow and slush here. There was ice on the sidewalk this morning but it is supposed to warm up as the day progresses and the precipitation is supposed to turn to rain. The bird feeders are filled and we have noticed a dramatic increase in traffic on them. The kids and I put apples and corn out for the deer yesterday afternoon and put fresh straw in the ...

yes; that's insane!
I've seen some crazy postings too...makes me think that some people want everyone to know that they are busy doing something...but, please, do we have to know that you're eating this and then a few hours later, you're eating that?
I'm pretty much a private person, so I don't post anything at all. Call me boring, but happy!

Our last day is on the 18th. I almost wish that we went a couple of days longer--I like to have as much time as possible off after Christmas.

He said to me... "Weren't you the one who said...it's rude to not answer the cell phone when someone calls. I corrected him.
"I SAID that I know that you (he) check your cell phone the MOMENT it rings...and then CHOOSE if you will answer it. So that when I call, and DON"T reach you I realize that I was noticed and deemed unworthy of being answered. SO I grimous at my phone and stick ...
