I just looked on eBay and there are lots there...seems like you can can get them for twenty dollars or so, if that's something you're willing to spend.

I spent 3 months in Germany on an exchange program when I was in graade 11. I remember so vividly travelling on the train through East Germany to Berlin and visiting the wall. I got chills 20 years ago watching it come down; those feelings have come back the past couple of days.

Jem--I'll commiserate with you. I have a horribly long to-do list, but can't tackle any of it as I'm still getting over the flu. I have a stack of papers to grade, no real specific lessons plans for the rest of the week, and Grandparent's Day to plan for (which is Friday). I need to finish writing the by-laws for our school's new National Junior Honor Society chapter and put together ...

I hope this third insurance agency doesn't deny him!! I don't know if all states are doing this, but, some states now say that a kid can be on their parents health insurance up to the age of 29. I know New York and Florida are two of the states. I am not too sure of requirements, I believe, it might just be that the person can't have a health insurance plan of his/her own. It may be something...

It sounds like a great trip, but if I were to go to London, I'd be all about the midievil history and children's literature that was set there. I wouldn't want all the people from the Olympics getting in my way. But if you love watching sports, it would be a dream trip! Keep us posted!

Don't go if you aren't comfortable. Many people didn't go to our Christmas party last year for the school I was working for. That's a lot of money for a party.
