On a Mac with a US keyboard, in most fonts, it's option-3. (Hold down the option key, then press 3) On a PC with a US keyboard, it's alt+0163. (Hold down the alt key, then type 0163) Or, if you've activated the Windows International keyboard in Control Panels > Regional and Language Options, it's Shift+RightAlt+4. As a Mac user, I just love the simplicity of Windoze.
