REGAL made safety chains
Published (2008-11-24 01:45:00)
I have several REGAL made safety chains made over 30 years ago. REGAL were an English company. On the card the chains were on, it says, "Sterling silver". I dipped the chains in (30 year old) silver dip for about 5 minutes. They are now bright, but some look decidedly yellowish. I don't get that because of the wording on the card: "Sterling silver". Does anyone know whether REGAL chains were in fact,...

Good morning everyone. I have used a great many drawplates in my time and have recently acquired one that draws down to an extremely fine diameter. I need a loupe to see the last few holes in the plate. Are there any tricks to draw down wire this thin? I will be using 22k- 24k gold and fine silver. I am expecting to have difficulties keeping the wire from breaking and even feeding it ...

Over time, these jewelry pieces do become tarnished and I have to clean them - but what a pain in the ass trying to use a jewelry cloth!!! I realize that I cant ...
