Hey there! Go back and take a second look at the add, if it says only the first three purchases of Corn Flakes @.99 I can understand why you paid more. I recently went in to use up some expiring e-cpns and the weirdest thing happened. I bought 1 of each item and 3 out of 4 e-cpns came off. I could understand if it had been 2, 1 of each or all 4 but 3? I even tried applying the logic of perhaps 1 of the 2 sites were somehow restricting the use to 1 per item. In addition to the Betty Crocker cookie mix and frosting deal I posted here there is another good e-coupon deal on the holiday cookie dough. Both cellfire and shortcuts have EQ's for 1.00 off 2 packages of any refrigerated cookie dough, as well as .75 off 2 packages of any holiday dough. I bought the holiday dough yesterday and both sets of EQ's came off! Also, this week's sale ad has a store coupon in it for any Pillsbury...

It might be silly to go to Safeway and blow $20 on stuff you don't need just to get a dozen eggs for free, but it's certainly not silly if you were going to spend that money on other groceries which are on sale anyway. Ultimately, Safeway is not in the business of giving away free stuff. No grocery store is. We should all be thankful that grocery stores run promotions at all. I had $1 off blinkies for the Fruit Loops and Apple Jacks and $1 off 1 cornflake coupons from the paper.

That would make sense. Doesn't bother me too much right now. If it was more than a $1, I'd be back in the store!
