Ercha,
I do not believe that any of the Epson flatbed (all in one) printers use
the 1280/1290 printers as their base.
Can you indicate the model number of your printer? Epson print heads
rarely fail, but they do clog. They can usually be unclogged with a
process, but now that you replaced the head and ribbon cable, there are
many possible problems that could have been introduced,...

Seems to be a very old thread. and MANY people with the same problem.
What is really happening is that the registration roller is stationary
and the paper is ' accordian' folded behind it. If you notice there is a
sensor just below the roller (clear plastic) where the paper is detected
and sent on to the transfer belt then fuser rollers. I'm not sure how
the sensor works but It seems to me...

lately ink cartridges of my HP DeskJet 710 c are empty more and
surprisingly frequently than before - though I don't print more.
is it possible that there's a problem with the printer or may I have
bought bad refilled cartridges?

Peter
