It is possible to design a PS/2 mouse port such that it can be split, and the splitters that support this are readily available and inexpensive (under $10, sometimes under $5). However, not all PS/2 ports do support this ... the port has to be designed specifically to enable such support. Are you talking about Password to access the BIOS or passwords for XP. It is my understanding that even with that board having dual BIOS there is only one password. That has been asked before and the switch to AHCI has to be made before installing anything. However, people who've made the switch have not reported any significant speed improvement. --g
