You can program the Sky remote to control the TV volume, but afaik you can't program it to control your AV receiver.
I have a Sony HTSF1300 and have to control the volume using the remote that came with it or my
Blu-ray player remote but not the TV or sky remotes...
If it's a problem, maybe an all-for-one remote would be a good idea for you.

The
Amstrad is a solid enough box, you might think the world was going to end given some of the comments about the stuck contrast issue but to the masses it isnt a problem. It's quiet and reliable, in 4 months mine has needed just a single reboot when the remote stopped responding but even then i suspect it was due to the kids pratting about.
To be fair i dont think there is much between any ...

RF2 output (9v) on port 0 powers the SPC4 and the RF2 Output (9v) on ports 1-3 powers other stuff (amps), so what im basically saying is you need RF2 turned on, on both boxes!

Try watching BBC1 on analogue terrestrial, then switching to digital terrestrial (Freeview) then satellite. All three will be running slightly behind the previous one. It takes longer for a digital signal to be interpreted than an analogue signal, it takes longer for a satellite broadcast of a TV station to be encoded, transmitted and received than a
terrestrial broadcast, it takes longer for a ...

call up to cancel the HD sub because the box is
knackered and pair the card up to an old box( it'll tide you by until the visit anyway), if you don't have an old box to use in the mean time then cancel because you box is broken. Be adamant that that which ever you chose from the above is what you want to do, Then wait for the offer of a free call out.
Canceling Multiroom, HD, or the entire sub...

might need to change the RF channel the box is outputting, as you may have a different
TV transmitter now.
Services
4 0 1 (or 0 0 1 for new EPG)
Select
RF Outlets
change the RF channel number
then save
run autoscan on the tv again and see if it is better. without knowing better where you live, i couldnt find out which channels should work in your area, trial and...
