The net's awash with rumours (or dreams) of these titles coming to the now dead format. Would Warner and Paramount be breaking some sort of contract with the BDA if they released these two titles on HD DVD? Considering the recent news that HD DVD is still selling quite well, a limited run release of these two films would be a nice present to the format's fanbase.

one place. This thread will be replacing the existing deals thread, and we all would like to thank Munkyxtc for keeping up with that thread for as long as he did. I will update this post at ...

I thought it was a dull
by-the-numbers biography with no real insight into the man, only the stuff that happened to him in his life. The extra features about Ray Charles are much more interesting than the movie. That's always a bad sign.

I primarily use DVD Profiler since it allows me to keep a
hard copy on my PC and also has my collection online. I use DVDaf as my backup source.

The AVS Guide to HD DVD Authoring This guide will take you through the creation of your own HD DVDs step by step. This process uses regular DVD recordables (and double layer DVD recordables) to create HD DVD discs that will play on a standard HD DVD player (such as the Toshiba A1 or XA1). At present, high definition
MPEG2 files at resolutions of 1920x1080i, 1440x1080i (HDV) and 1280x1080i work ...

My copy of "The Aviator" arrived this
morning. After a quick flick through the scenes the color scheme looks a lot more intense than the SD release with startling shifts from one color strip to another, particularly the shift to "three-strip Technicolor." This now looks almost as superb as it did in the theatre, but I predict a lot of complaints about it. But then I remember Jonathon Valin in...

Only a few people knew this to exist...and apparently this site just got 5000 or so of them in stock. While the film may suck, collectors may want a copy of it. http://www.dvaspecial.com/Welcome/P2...
