I Think I might of got lucky and managed to have my system dialed in because this movies audio was superb and well balanced all the way around. I think my Pioneer Elite 94 AVR did most of the work for me and then I just fine tuned it with a avia II disk and RS spl meter . This was a outstanding movie all the way around and my favorite of the year , Thanks much Ralph for your excellent review or I probably would have never bought it being that...

100 for the audio.
Maybe I will buy this even though I never really liked Star Trek.
What movies would you compare this to audio wise and LFE wise?
Is this on the level of Transformers 2, Cloverfield, ect in terms of LFE?

I may be the odd man out on this movie, but we watched it the other night, and I thought it was pretty good. Yes, it was full of gross-out humor, but I had some pretty good laughs. Maybe I'm just in touch with my inner child.

I saw this with my wife last year around Christmas and I agree 100%. I too am a Vince Vaughn fan ever since Swingers, but this movie bored the hell out of me. Don't think I laughed but once or twice and was just ready for the credits to roll.

Ralph, thanks for the review. I'll pick up a rental even though I saw it in a theater and thought it was okay. My wife liked it better than I did but then again she reads all of the Dan Brown books beforehand and knows more of the details not explained in the movie plot. Maybe I'll like it more the second time around.

You're a little late with this one, I already bought it!
They even have a short feature explaining that the film is up converted because it was not shot in HD. Then why did they put it out on blu ray?

Ralph,
You really need to catch the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. It was an animated season (there is a second) instead of a movie, but it's amazing. Even if you just catch it on DVD, you should check it out.

lmao @ this movie!
Saw this movie when i was in high school and thought it was a classic comedy. Very funny especially the scene where Ben found out Alyssa's so called "boyfriend". lol
Even though the score's on the low side i think it's still a must have film.
Collect!
Thanks Ralph.
Cheers
P.s. Just noticed there's an Import version of this BR. Any chance you ...
