I haven't had any responses yet so here's what i did for the time being:
Created 2 seperate joist families, added a full length symbolic line on one, a short symbolic on the other.
For some reason, the 'web joist' line wants to show up in the
plan view no matter what, so i set the color of 'web joist' projection line (within the structural framing portion of the model categories in the ...

I wouldn't use it - since I filled up the QAT and changed the color theme to "light" I prefer the new interface. Fix the idiotic
dialog boxes instead.

Gordon,
Have you looked at the video at http://revitoped.blogspot.com/2009/1...offset-of.h
tml
and the ones in the previous post link also? Steve refers to a 4" dimension in one of them. They are quick and helpful as well as the graphic.

So.... 573
calendar days later (see how handy that date field would be ) I still want this feature.
As we speak to more contractors and owners I can see all sorts of value in having this parameter type available. I'll ask again, does anyone see the potential here? Warranty information, service and replacement dates, etc.all exportable to external database sources or usable in the Revit model.

Once a revision is 'issued' it is locked and can't be changed. Just uncheck
the issued
check box and you should be able to add another cloud for rev A
or B

Cory,
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I had found where to do that, it just seems odd that the stock line types are more or less
unusable. Oh well!
Thanks again,
Joel

Hmm, I thought that NO user-created parameters were written to DWFs. You have found an improvement.
You can also check the data by changing the
DWF extension to ZIP and looking at the text of the files.

We have noticed that when you copy a section, the
tape measure is disabled. But when a new section is created the tape measure functions properly.
One of my collegues said that she had a model where she has a single view go corupt, but never all the sections and elevations.
Any help on this would be apprcieated. We would like to avoid starting new sections/elevations as we would lose ...

Wow!!!
I just tested without drawing (project) and the "Virtual memory for
Revit" had changed on "Worksharing Monitor"...
0% (it's logic) if Revit is not open
32% when Revit is loaded
16% when Revit is minimized
17% when Revit is maximixed
Like Neo in "The Matrix"... Why I took the blue pill?
With the symptoms and instabilities of Revit 2010 with XP 32-bit (maybe with XP...
