The highlighted green has to do with the subcatagory of the element you have selected. Itll change back to black in the project, assuming your Project Object Styles have them set to black. As for tying stuff together... You should be constraining reference planes, and locking geometry to reference planes, instead of locking things to one another. If youre doing that, i would have a Reference Plane as "Center of Frame." Tie...

Thats what i'm curious myself. I guess the concept how these values are implemented, didn't previse for the use of both at same time. There must be no more architects in the factory, as they overlook such important features. -rpict

Move transom glass with door frame

Can some provide some help on this... I have a double door with a transom and I have a recess parameter to adjust the frame within the wall. When I adjust the rescess the glass for the transom is not moving. How can I lock the transom glass so it stays in the center of the door frame and moves with it. I was able to do this with a single door just fine but its not working with my double doors. EDIT: I ended up adding dimensions from the face...

Simple: Just pick the in-place, choose "Edit in-place" and then change the category, like you would in the family editor !

relink families? I dont understand why someone would relink them? We just add families to a new project as needed. Some families are already part of the template. If you want to add multiple families, you know you can drag and drop from Windows Explore into Revit right?
