you turn the fly wheel to the left so that would move the timing forward to have it closer to top dead center i believe. you could do it right before you put the key in and then it should be good for quite a while. if anything you could mark the flywheel at tdc with the key in it also to check it easily. steve

I've seen some covers on eBay that are listed for KFX 700/450Rs so maybe that will work.

what about valve clearances? will the piston smack the valves if im not carefull? i know ill need to adjust the valves just wondering.

$15 at my local Honda dealer and they stock them. I guess I will just pick one up.

not sure thought of keeping them for spares but not sure if i decide to get rid of them i will send you a message

Same type of idea as above, you could put a tool box in and just set the front end on that.
