but I do think he acts like a very immature boy with some things I've read or seen.>> Such as...? You're really vague with this. LOL - What, are you his rep now? What is being "vague?" As with any celebrity, you see or read things about them. Is it all true? Probably not. Is there usually a pattern of good/bad news about them? Pretty much. It's not rocket science. I mean,...

We actually toned gifts down A LOT this year, and I'm so glad we did. The big kids got a big ticket item to share (laptop), and the baby got a big ticket item (to share with dh @@- a train set). The rest of their loot was small compared to what we usually do, and I didn't notice a single hint of disappointment from any of them. I am thrilled to be rid of my self-imposed spoiling ritual! ...

six movie posters to put in the '"man cave" We recently wallpapered our basement (it was a hideous hunter green circa 1990) and I bought about a dozen frames for LP-records. We picked out our favorite records-not like we ever listen to them anymore! Lois

He does have that "it" thing that certain performers have live, though - Springsteen and Neil Diamond both have that. They could sing the phone book and be incredible live. ___________________________________________________________________________________ I've never seen Neil Diamond live though I do like some of his stuff, but I have seen Springsteen and to me it was just ok. A friend was given tickets and we went...

We had an open house yesterday w/family and friends and then opened up gifts around 8:00 -- the boys were up until about 1;00am playing on their new X-Box 360! My family always opened gifts on Christmas Eve when I was growing up. We got stockings on Christmas morning. My son got an xbox this year, too. My dd got a tv/dvd player which was a big surprise to her because...

Loser how? Seems to me he leads a fairly normal life for a celebrity musician. No drugs or alcohol issues, just an on-again, off-again bit with Jennifer Aniston. Considering his age, I don't find that "loser" behavior. And Kim, you really have to stop reading US Weekly >g<. ~ Well, you must be reading it too :) Never heard anything "nice" about him. ~ ...

I haven't gifted myself anything but I am out of work this week. I will enjoy walking the dogs after dawn for a change! Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, It's about learning to dance in the rain. Patti

She's totally lucid again, eating again, laughing, cheerful, hopeful. It took a *lot* of testing, some of which was rather invasive and painful, a lot of medication, and one long, scary surgery. But she's better. Much better. And we're all very grateful for the wonderful turnaround. ~~~~~~~~ Thats great to hear, Marla. Lovely early Christmas present, no? Now I really don't know how to ...
