If owners decided to pay them so much, not one cent more. Will they have to find other work? It's the owner who has the power over the union. If the owners decided they wanted to eliminate the union they could if they chose to and players will have to find other work if they weren't satisfied what they were being paid ... Who does anyone think will be first to come crawling begging back for ...

Please help Carlos get back on track. I think, Carlos will get his Mojo on against Jo-Jo, tonight. Please place Carlos Beltran back in the 2-Hole. OK, here's my lineup for tonight. Leading Off: MVP Jose Reyes 2-Hole : Carlos Beltran TriageMan Co-MVP David Wright Cleanup: D. Murphy (Yes, you read that ...

How pitchers don't continually bust Wright to the far inside corner. Other than base on balls he'll get he has an extremely slow bat, he'd be no more than a .230 hitter. Oh sure, occasionally he will sometime get his bat around, but rarely. As to his hits to rightfield, as is they blob lazily along.

One fighting to regain some semblance of superiority; the other just fighting to maintain . The Mets needed to strike at the Achilles' heel of the Atlanta Braves and they did just that. Putting up a 5-spot in the 8th inning against a haggared Atlanta pen was the only way the Mets were going to win this contest. Jo-Jo Reyes handcuffed the line-up after giving up an early quick 2 runs....

Wouldn't it be amazing if a RAT club as the Washington Nationals, the worst team in all of baseball were to defeat, and/or sweep the Phillies ... That's what unconsciousism means. But you got to look on the good side of them too. They're a Major League club. Baseball hierarchy says so.

All winter the reports were that Met's farm system was so weak they could not trade for Santana but yet they pulled it off. Now two of the great young Yankee players (Cabrea and Huges) who by all reports could have sealed the Yankees trading for Santana are both back in the minors. Maybe the reporters and fans just don't know as much about prospects as we think. RCS

Probably won't hit 90 again but thanks for your emails and your concern. to all the other posters, sorry for putting this on the Mets board. He's just been emailing me every day. Let Go Mets. They have over and above chance of defeating Mets this afternoon. Z. Duke record 4-10 pitching for Pirates. Were his record 10-4 Pirates wouldn't have any chance at all.

Do the Mets sign him long term after the season? I think so he is erratic at times but when he's on he's dominating. A solid nucleus of Johan, Ollie and John with Pelfrey emerging this year. ' The Whole World Is A Stage And No One Can Play Your Part'

Well once again Johan leaves with a lead. Anyone have the current Vegas odds on him actually getting the win?

Started with a 2-0 run and it's ended at the bottom of the second. 2-2. Who the heck wants this game more? Is it Capital 1 or an orange and blue rag? Pure Energy Flows -- Peace by Peace
