Well this time tommorrow I will be off to the windy city of Chicago and then on to KY!!! Here I come PP!!!! And please pray for me folks cause I am from south Louisiana and its cold and heck up there!! And somewhere -- wherever the racing gods live -- there was unabated laughter at this comeuppance. Karma's a bitch, babe, and so is the Triple Crown.

I can't find out a lot of info on this and can't remember it either. Can someone help? In the TC in 1977 Sandy Hawley was chosen to replace Run Dusty Runs jock. I know the jock was Darrel McHargue. Hargue rode him in the Derby nd Preakness, but why was he replaced and who replaced him. Who owned him at the time? Was it Robert Lehmann's widow, or someone else?

Me....Peat Moss........saddled with weight all his life. Almost beat the great John in the '81 JCGC, but didn't. I don't care what anyone says....this was John's greatest race.
