This randomly happened. Booted up the pc one morning and it didn't post. No system beeps or anything.
1.) Reseated RAM - nothing
2.) Changed out CMOS battery - nothing
3.) Changed out power supply - nothing
4.) Changed out RAM - nothing...

Tried the Win7 64bit install with
CnQ disabled in BIOS? As test could also try an install on IDE only, as a comparison.
Perhaps give it a try with another power supply?

Yep, you can definitely run
Windows 7; either the 32 or 64 bit verion.
Just try to do a CLEAN install (you can do it with an upgrade DVD) to avoid problems when transitioning to the new OS.
