A pair of Wings exhaust cans for a ktm 9X0 adventure. In good shape, quiet when idle, nice sound the faster you go. No major dents, etc 400 dollars firm, a good deal for someone who still has stock cans on their bike. A must do, saves a ton of weight and makes your bike sound like it should. Located in Ottawa.

Here Doc, read what the downhomers have to say about the closing. Here's one... Yarmouth will soon become a ghost town. In today's world, no community can survive for long without transportation links. Approximately 25%-30% of Yarmouth's economy is derived from tourism. And the substantial portion of the remainder is derived from the fishing industry. There is no longer any rail service to Yarmouth. There is no bus service to...

Ain't that the truth. Can you imagine all that incredible countryside and mixed roads for miles and miles in every direction? And good beer!
And hardly a poser in sight.

I am interested in setting up a team. I would like it to ne a KLR team, since the other teams will need somebody to make fun of!!
I am new to this sort of event, so I would like to team up with people interested in finishing rather than people who are really eager to win the whole thing.
Although a KLR team would be nice, I certainly wouldn't be opposed to setting up a mixed team.

Good explanation. Just a couple of additional notes ...
1) The bike needs to have the Manufacturer declare that all safety recalls have been done on your particular bike. So you need to get in touch with BMW for example ... give them your VIN and they need to fax you back a letter on their letterhead stating the bike is clear of recalls. You need this to cross into Canada.
2) I contacted...

I didn't see my name on the going, going, going problem list.
Depending on the number of people that want the clinic, I'll need either one full day (which will leave some tired bodies) or two 3/4 days prior to the BCBTR ride.
I'm going to plan on coming up early and meet with the planners to scout out the training area, make reservations and then all ride over to the BCBTR start ...

Yes, I did speak to the Office Manager of Transportation Canada (who I believe is also the Project Manager for that project) in Happy Valley Goose Bay. He told me about the delays up to 2009. Back at the beginning of summer there were 50 or so km left for the first rough cut through the bush.
So, no, the road isn't ready yet.

The problem with the December show is that the Canadian manufactures don't get some of the new bikes this early...eg. I don't recall the Duc streetfighter at the dec show last year. It's still worth it for a bike fix in December though (especially when it snows in November like last year!).

I would sell the bike in the UK for Euros (or pounds) and buy a bike here. Your gonna double your cash when you make the exchange anyway.
Just so you know I think it is total BS that we can't import bikes less than 15 yrs.
