Bad side effects? help

I had severe dizziness and non-stop headaches for two weeks when I first started welbutrin. I went off it for a week and then went back on.... never had issues again. Maybe just an adjustment period?

hi, i think the side effects you describe *definitely* merit further inquiry with your prescribing physician and/or pharmacist--whichever one is available first. i, personally, would not take another pill until i spoke to someone. NOTE: i have never taken wellbutrin and it's possible that dizziness and vomiting are part of your body adjusting to the medication. however, better to seek qualified medical advise, in my opinion. i wish you...

I'ts funny that you brought this up for I am dealing with a similar condition. Now 4 me, adderal and klonipin expands my creativity but there is another medication that I have just found kills creativity: abilify. Now mind you that if your are not dependant on expression to survive, Abilify is an excelant medication, but it stole my ability to think clearly. I can't even write on it, 3 weeks now, and I'm a writer. I'm...

I can back you up on this one. I am not a writer of fiction, but an academic in the humanities. Since starting treatment for ADD (inattentive type) my writing has gone downhill. My ability to find a nice short way to say many things at once with some semblance of subtlety seems to be completely blunted. I write like a freaking hammer now, with shorter sentences, less complexity, and more ...

I was there. Strat killed erections. Made urinary retention a problem. 5 trips a night to bathroom. Add to that urinary urgency, rush down to bathroom for a 5 second stream that shut off leaving me still in pain. All this on 20mg strat over a 2 month period. 3rd day off I got abolity to erect and go to the bathroom back. The urgency staryed with me for 6 months. I have to go NOW, but at least ...

I was on Wellbutrin XL 150 for close to two years for a good bout of depression in '05 to '07, and the initial couple of weeks I felt extremely loopy for hours after taking the daily dose. After that few weeks though that side effect went away and was replaced with an uplifted mood and definitely increased focus.

W-L,
Not sure I get what you are trying to say. The two actually complement eachother, Adderall releases dopamine neuradreline and Wellbutrin keeps it around longer, which makes the combo a frequently perscribed one for ADHD treatment.

I am on a low dose of wellbutrin 100mg SR 1/day.
The first 4 weeks were terrible with irritability, insomnia, mood swings, edginess, nervousness, nausea, fatigue... etc As of week 6 all of these side-effects are gone and I am left with increased motivation and concentration and greatly elevated sex drive... (no complaints here).
The one downside is that I have had some acid reflux (I get ...
