Darksong, I really relate to this poem because it is one way of pampering myself with a hot bath, simmering as a pot on a stove with rich suds and oils, maybe a glass of wine, eyes closed as I sink into oblivion.

oh boy is this ever familiar, Moi.. I have bits of verse in boxes and mixed in with grocery and to-do lists. And no matter how many words or phrases I jot down, it's always the one I didn't, and can't quite remember, that was surely the one worth keeping. And I do the same thing, thunking the forehead, "stupid stupid" .. I had to laugh at...
