I can believe that I am the only one with this issue...the design of this attachment allows the tie rod to work itself loose. All the wheel bearings I have seen have castle nuts to prevent wheels from coming off and not sure why steering would not be important enough to warrant the same design effort. For those that are prematurely wearing their front tires, you may want to check toe angles for symptoms of tie rods backing out. Another tip if...

If you can get access to it, check the auctions for Cayennes. When I was shopping, the current and previous model year cars were going in the high 50s/low 60s on the auction market. Guys were paying in the 70s for a NEW GTS.

We just installed a Cayenne Turbo carbon sport steering wheel! Our wheel matched the existing black carbon trims and made it an excellent interior upgrade for this beautiful Cayenne! Hope you like it and Happy Thanksgiving!! This ad is not displayed to registered and logged-in members. Register your free account today and become a member on 6SpeedOnline!

That is a great question! I start with the vehicles specs, never the tires. My reasoning is that the max psi# by the tire manufacturers does not take into consideration that all vehicles do not have the exact same weight loads and are not always the ideal 50/50 weight ratio. I can then increase the rear a bit for extra passengers, heavy cargo or when pulling a trailer (if I ever ...

I think you might be able to do better. There was a recent thread in the 997TT forum about what '09 TT are going for. And I believe people were seeing better than 20K off. Obviously, two different cars but I'd have to believe a dealer will have a harder time moving the Cayenne than the 997? I was thinking of a cayenne S for my wife but haven't really found an '09 that I like so I may ...
