I think what I will do then, is post a new thread later, and see how many are interested in the V12 Vantage side sills, and then we can go from there... Regards Nicholas

I had that error message as well, just like many of the other forum members. I opted for the reset tool which worked like a charm.

needless to say i didn't pay 65 Black on Grey interior. All depends on how the economy goes I guess. And I really don't see how the second hand market can go any lower, since there're plenty of people like me who really don't belong in the "Aston club" at new prices, but can snatch these up in the 60k ranges. Basically the M3 and S5 buyers.

The unit looks great, impressed by the dyno runs for just a cat back exhaust. Could be louder, IMHO.

Okay, bearing in mind that my regular daily driver in London is a road-legal vintage racecar... I find the Vantage very easy to live with on a daily basis. Handbrake is a non-issue. Some of the other guys on the forum will be able to help with the Ipod retrofit.

Hey Doc,
RSC has hubcentric spacers available for the Vantage. We don't stock these items but manufacture each to customer's specification. 11mm would be no problem at all. Price is $460.00/set.
I'm just sending you an email with more details.
Cheers,
Stuart

Do the drive, I've done the drive from Tx to S.FL a couple of times, it's a pretty easy drive. What better way to get to know your new car than to take it on a great road trip.

I remember reading that post on AMOC, but never got around to ordering bulbs for my car, but this should motivate me to act.

Sounds awesome Tahoe. Your car is becoming a monster. I can't wait to see pics and reports of performance. Congrats. By the way, what size are the wheels and tires?

I may be biased being one of their vendors, but their 1 piece forged wheels are of great quality with their strength and weight. Lots of 6speed members have great experiences with their 1 piece lines can give you a lot of feedback.

Has anyone looked into putting the V12 side sills on a V8V? These sills turn down and out at the rear (see pic below) instead of sweeping up like the N400 sills. I believe that the N24/GT4 sills also turn down and will fit on the V8V, but they have an exposed CF rib I'm looking to avoid.
Also, anyone know if the front splitter from the V12 would fit the V8V?...
