I saw 17 psi for a split second in stock form while in 4th gear at 3000rpm and flooring it. Now 17 psi is on the screen almost all the time when accelerating It may be possible to hit 19 psi in certain gears but either way it is a big improvement and I love it!

911 turbo windshield rubber
Published (2009-12-28 23:49:00)
Hey everyone, my new 911 turbo has a Sirius antena installed on the roof of the car. I can see the wire is being run under the windshield rubber and I would like it removed. I asked a tuner if he could do it for me, but he gave me a short story about some kind of a chemical being installed by Porsche where you can't remove the rubber from the glass without breaking the window itself. Does this makes sense guys? Also, what do you think...

My bet would be a fabspeed exhaust with fabspeed tips. I only experienced the FS tips sticking out on FS systems, never when those tips were installed on another system.

Alan, if you do find the answer elsewhere please post it here. I'm looking for a car just like yours and would also be interested in the LED DRL.

Everyone has their favorite tuner but for those of you who are thinking about modding your 997tt, you would be remiss not to give Todd K. and Protomotive serious consideration.

And you are right: For the street, the biggest benefit of PCCB is being relatively dust free.

Depends if it's Gen 1 or 2, cats, no cats, 100 cell, 200 cell. How 'used' is it? IMO, the best sounding one out there. Superb construction. When I get my pennies together, that's probably what I'll be getting.
If you don't buy this used one, I get dibs!

Eek. I'm sorry I have no insight into this, but good luck with a resolution. Not to rub salt in the wound, but was using a CC not an option for this purchase??

Looks great! I'd suggest some clear side corners and some OEM porsche crest center caps to finish it off?

After selling my 07TT several months ago I purchased the following 08TT from a fellow 6speed member and the mods begun. I already had a Cargraphic loud exhaust system and HREs P43 from my previous TT so those were the first to be installed.
First stop was Premier Films to get the car tinted and the roof wrapped in vinyl. I know many members arent too fond of vinyl ...

I drove a 996 c4s for yrs (same platform), awsome DD. The 997tt is spectacular as a DD, the best all around car I've ever owned.
I'd go for a killer deal on a 996tt now, look for the latest/greatest unmodded specimen you can find.

I think almost all the turbo are in those three colors. They are “safe” colors that the dealer specs out for easy sell. I prefer to see turbo in non tradition colors—white, seen it in malachite green, it looks great. My vote: white, malachite green, ruby red. Thye aren’t the popular colors, but they the turbo wears it well.
