There are two schools of thought on treating the leather on the dash. The one I have heard is to not treat the leather because the factory shrinks the leather & by using leather conditioner it it will cause the leather to rehydrate & cause warping of the dash.

For the money you save, you can build 20 fuel system for your 996TT (dual 044 pumps, rails, lines, injectors). If you want to make really big power for less money, the 996 is the better choice. If you start w/ 2 stock cars, the 997 have several performance advantages.

The Texas Mile folks don't care that they overlap. Peter has tried to coordinate with them in the past but they are not interested.

The manual says that peak torque for the X50 is 457 lb. ft. from 3500-4500 rpm (pg. 206). The manual also has a dyno graph (pg. 212) but it seems to be for the non-X50 engine. Although peak torque is from 3500-4500 rpm, I'm sure usable torque has a broader curve. Hope this helps.

This winter I'm doing roughly the same thing. I've purchased the Evoms GT2 kit some time ago, and just got my CM Stg3 from Vivid, but I'm using the dual mass. Actually talked to the fellows at ClutchMasters about it, and they say it's a good choice. We are good-to-go.

There's a lot more to an intercooler than how it looks, whether it's bigger and is advertised as flowing more air. The construction, design, and functionality are critical. You need to do a little reading on intercoolers in general. Here's a technical site that may help you understand a bit about them....there's a lot more to them than looking for the cheapest one on the market. BTW...I went...
