2008 600rr starter problems
Published (2009-11-25 03:53:00)
If it flooded, which my first post will help to clear out, then the plugs aren't firing enough juice to get it to start but they still fire and do help lower the resistance to spinning the engine over. This is just a simple thing to do before checking compression and other stuff like that. Also if you have a warm garage to park the bike in... maybe even put a heater under the bike to warm the motor. Certainly wouldn't hurt.

RR'08 dont start after crash
Published (2009-11-22 18:18:00)
there is a certain way to start up the bike after the fuel lines have been messed with. Just because It did not fire right away does not mean there is a problem. Try holding the throttle wide open for a couple of seconds, then releasing it completely, all while the key is turned in the ON position. Just keep trying while messing with different throttle positions. Your bike is fine, the wiring is fine. You may want to remove the plug from the...

When we got out there, it wouldn't start. I took it back to the dealer and they said it was a bad battery. I told them my story and they said i MUST have some something while i was in the desert and it was my ...

I've never has that problem but from what I've read here, its usually been fixed with a new regulator. I don't know why the bike doesn't start only when everythings hot but that's what it does.

If the starter is spinning the engine... then there's nothing wrong with it. Try strting it with the throttle wide open for like 15 sec. Then try with no throttle. see if that get her going.
