Wow, it must have been that screw that did the tire damage. Why is it there? Or was the license plate hangin and the corner did that? Tripage's FE mounts on the muffler bracket, vs the mid-pipe area like yours, so any bumps shouldn't make the tire hit it. You can even adjust it backwards to make 100% sure it won't hit the tire. If you have a Marshalls, TJ Max, or Ross in your area you can find that sort of stuff cheap. I wear the Nike stuff myself but I can tell you the cold gear stuff works.

I got the 6000K ddm in mine... i wouldnt even say they're blue at all... they look white and there's plenty of light. my car on the on other hand has 8000k, and those are light "aqua" blue colored i would say the 6000K are still in the "white" range I'll try getting a pic later...

does anyone have both bikes and have done trackdays and/or racing with? 07-09 600 and 08-10 1000? I just wanted to get opinions on the 1000rr as far as cornerability and riding characteristics compared to the 600rr.
