I always take a piece of painters tape and wrap it around the pipe below that joint, separate the two, paint it on with a brush - put the two back together and wipe off any excess and remove the tape.

The heat will not effect it.. Have had this on the first two bikes for months now with no problems. This gives you the best spot with still having access to the back of the cluster if you need to remove it. We have tested the angle and you this gives you the best position for this while still being stable.. If you want to move it go for it but make sure you test your lean angles before going out. Also after you tighten the screws up for the...

Here's my take on it. As a current Tripage 03-06 taillight owner, I'm already happy with the product but would probably one of the first guys to buy it. Until the current models have a radical redesign, your market is still pretty wide open T, Honda is still producing a lot of 600RR's. Given your track record of quality products and great service....this sounds like a winner to me. If its trick, ...

It's tough to see what it looks like because of the whiteing out. Can you do it again with just the numbers whited out? We can't really see the frame of it. Other than that it looks nice. Do you live in the EU? It looks like you have a pretty big plate there.

So I installed my Leo Vince slip-on last night and have the infamous small exhaust leak. Tried moving the clamp around several times and did nothing. I'm going to run to Kragen and pick up some Permatex Ultra Copper and wanted to know how did you guys apply it? Did you use it just on the bottom part where the pipe connects to the OEM header piece? I have 2 pipes + the canister itself, and was ...

yes it will make it louder and perhaps the full system uses slip fittings and springs while the slip on only has a clamp.

the only hard part would be swapping out the cables where they connect at by the throttle bodies. you'd have to be somewhat mechanically inclined and be someone with lots of patience. first timers trying this will curse/swear, yell, kick and throw things around.

The Leo Vince doesn't go beyond the tail fairing. And it looks nice :) I think the Akrapovic doesn't pass the tail fairing either (and it looks equally nice). Here's mine, if it helps: http://www.600rr.net/vb/showthread.php?t=142690

There are a lot of Vendors on this forum that can give you pretty good pricing on exhausts, and most other parts. As for flush mounts, I personally chose Watsen Micro Alloy signals. Fender eliminators and brake lights, look at Tripage (a member/vendor on the forum). Welcome and ride safe!
