What is a Demiurg? New race in 40k?

They are some sort of a revision on the old Squat-concept (see the Lost and Damned-board for more info) and are rumored to be tied in with the Tau Empire. However, apart from BFG they have not made much of an appearance other than in rumors so far.

Hmm. Well, I hadn't thought of them, but those, plus Deathwing terminators comes to 3 extra units for the Dark Angels, and the last line you quoted partially covers that even if it was meant for Sword Brethren and Death Company. Did I miss any more in my scan of the GW site that was apparently not so much quick and efficient as incomplete.

you're right. you honestly learn more when you lose. cormarr is also right about attitude. it's just the way you play, not the list you use. of course, if it's an all-out cheese list with no fluff whatsoever, it makes it a little less fun.

Quote from: Raktra (is a legal assassin) on November 27, 2009, 01:22:30 PM Well remember Sheepz, most of the Space Wolf infantry range comes from different kits to the regular Marines, so that may also be an influencing factor. And, like I said, the old Space Wolves had BloodClaws, Longfangs, Wolf Scouts and Grey Hunters boxed sets (which was essentially their army minus tanks), not to mention their blisters of special characters and...

Space Dwarves? in the BFG it said they had Tentacles and looked barely humanoid. Also they are supposed to be incredibly ancient even before the Imperium itself which explain why their ships are so powerful. How the hell does this sound like the squats? Btw what about the other races like Draxians etc

Yeah, that was possibly one of the most ridiculous parts of the entire thing. I mean, they could at least have gone to the trouble of taking the symbol off the bottom if they were going to steal the image for their cover.

40k gaming Table Solutions?
Published (2009-11-27 11:43:00)
My dad and I just put together a gaming table. We haven't finished quite yet because we were busy with Thanksgiving and its been raining~ But it should give you a decent idea of how we did it. Its not too complicated. We built the frame for each board and then glued on the board then screwed it down. That way we kept the fidelity of the size and shape even if the MDF Boards weren't cut perfectly, and one wasn't, so that was a...

They are a race of space faring dwarf-like being that are part of the Tau empire where they work as explorers IIRC. They are mostly an attempt to reintroduce the concept of space dwarf that have disappeared since the squats. I think they've been created during the 4th ed (but I couldn't swear that). They were rumours that they would be a new 40k army something like 6 months ago, but it was not...

Grab some sheets of MDF or Chip Board. A centimetre or two thick keeps the wood from warping. Spray them the colour of your choice and then stack them behind the sofa (or under it, I suppose). As regards the table, you can balance all three boards on a table smaller than 6x4, play on the floor, or lay them across the bed if you have space in your room. Otherwise you'd have to make your own ...

Do they really have to include unique units for every Space Marine chapter? Anyone who plays those armies could get a Tactical Squad or something like that. GW left out the Daemons and Dark Eldar on purpose. This is their way of saying "Get a real army already."

My advice? Practice. What ever you do, get as many games as possible, against a variety of opponents, and not against carebears. Learn from loses celebrate victories. There is no better way to learn the game than in the game. No way to anticipate opponent moves, work out kinks, get rules sorted, get into the groove of timed games, working out the local meta... it's all there. I'm being ...
