you can do
the classic 2-3 island aquascape.. that usually leaves tons of room for corals

what do you plan on keeping in the tank? if you plan on going reef, i would ditch the
canister for a refugium set-up... maybe use the canister to run charcoal and thats about it..

I would wash it off real good. Set it out to dry and put it in the tank if it was mine. At 3 months being dry I doubt there is anything still alive in it. JMO

base rock question Ok, so I can get my hands on some nice fiji dry base rock locally. It's basically the stuff that marcorocks sells, but up here in Ontario.
