Purple, I too have all of her exercise dvd's. Thank you for giving me some input on your experience. It doesn't sound like something I would want to do. I have her book as well but like I said I am VERY slow when it comes to the math and everything. I can plug in the numbers like she says to do, but I don't understand why I'm plugging in those numbers. Maybe you could help me understand it better? One thing I don't...

Hey, I tried slimfast and it worked for me back when i needed to slim down for a PT test in the military. I gained it all back, not bc slimfast didnt work but bc i didnt make it a lifestyle change. Im actually going to start back on slimfast just to jump start my weightloss and get me back into the swing of things. As for making your own meal replacement with a protein shake... just make sure it has all the nutrients that you will get in a...

Hi Everyone, Well, I started the cookie diet in March this year. I did really well while I was on it . Lost 15 pounds in less than two months. I loved the diet and wish I could stay on it. I purchased another 40 some days worth and everytime I start it I can handle the first cookie fine, but I can't for the life of me eat the second. The taste and the smell make me sick. I've tried psyching myself out many times. Every time I open a...

It's the oral fixation, not hunger. I suggest sugar-free gum, it is your best friend. Trust me, I stopped smoking just last year and the only thing that has worked is gum and getting active when cravings strike!!

Personally, I love Slimfast for breakfast! It's quick, easy and tasty. I am sometimes not very hungry for breakfast but know I need something in my tummy. I never have it for any other meal though, it would not be enough. I need real food for lunch, dinner and snacks.

I'm thinking more and more that perhaps I should just try the "diet" and skip the expensive supplementation. I take a bazillion on my own already. I could add in a few from what they were going to give me and call it a day.

I joined JM.com awhile back and ended up dropping my membership before having to pay again, but it might be what you are looking for. She gives you daily workouts which are basically the same thing you would get if you bought some of her DVDs or did her Wii game...circuit style workouts with lots of lunging, etc. She really doesn't tell you how many calories to burn other than ...

Do you have details on the nutritional information? Ingredients?
A lot of the protein powder stuff is a lot of hype although some of the stuff geared towards elite athletes packs in extra calories for those that are working out a lot.

A friend of mine has lost a significant amount of weight - over 100 lbs - on the cookie diet over the last 9 months. It works because it is a pretty severe calorie restriction diet -- around 800-1000 calories, I believe. She is only eating one meal per day, eating cookies as replacement for the rest of the meals. Anyone WILL lose weight on that plan. But, it's a very low calorie intake and ...
